The sun said to the hawk one time, “I need some money. I hope you give me some of the money you have, and I will return it to you very soon, very soon within days.” The hawk gave some money to the sun. The days passed, and the week passed, and the month passed, but the sun did not return the money. She waited another month for the money to return, but without benefit.

The hawk decided to go to the sun and ask for the money from her. He went to the sun when she was high in the sky and said to her, “Did you not promise me that you would return to me the amounts you asked from me before that?” The sun answered him, “Yes, I will do, but I am in the sky now, and the money is in the house. I hope you come to me when I am in the house, and I will give you the money.”

The hawk agreed with the sun’s words and returned from where he came. He decided to go the morning of the next day early. But in the morning of the next day, he was extremely late, for the sun had indeed risen high in the sky already. The hawk went to the sun’s house again and many times passed, but the sun was not in the house. Every time he would go extremely late.

One day while he was on his way to the sun, the hawk met his friend the owl and said to him, “Why do you go to the sun every day?” The hawk answered him the wise story, saying, “I gave him some money a long time ago and cannot obtain it again. Every time I go to him, I find the sun high in the sky and do not find her in the house, so I cannot obtain the money, and every time I wake up from sleep late and cannot go to him early.”

The owl said to him, “I can help you. The owl said to him, ‘Stay with me in the night, and I always wake up early and will help you to go to the sun early to return your money, and I will wake you up early, then you can fly quickly to the sun and obtain your money.’”

So the hawk stayed the whole night with the owl. In the dawn, the owl woke up cuckoo cuckoo cuckoo cuckoo cuckoo cuckoo! “Wake up, oh hawk. Go to the sun! She is in the house now. Come to take back your money!”

The owl woke up while he was still sleepy, then he thanked the owl and went in his way to the sun. The sun was in the house, had already woken up. He said to her, “Good morning, oh sun. It has become the time to wake up, and I am here to obtain my amounts!”

The sun replied, “Good morning, oh hawk. How were you able to wake up early, and the most important matter, who told you to come to me at such a very early time like this?” The hawk was not able to answer, but the sun informed him, “If you wish to obtain your money, you must inform me who told you to come to me at such a very early time.” He answered her: The owl.

The sun was extremely angry with the owl when the hawk had helped her, and was angry with him about it. She said to the hawk, “Now the owl will pay the price for his deed with his children! All the owl’s children will be yours! I will inform you of the place where I hide them.” The hawk did not forget the beautiful deed to the owl, and from that day, the sun began to help the hawk to know where the rooster is and chase it.
