Once upon a time, there was a fox named Roxy who owned a small piece of land. He was constantly thinking: What should I plant it with? What should I plant it with? When he finished cleaning the land of all weeds, he said: I will plant it with watermelons. After Roxy planted the land, he was constantly looking at the beautiful green farm, thinking of the big red watermelons, saying: Oh my God, I will eat the sweetest watermelon in the world.

But the fox was always forgetting to close the farm gate and left it open, going to sleep in his cave under the tree, confident in what he had planted. Next to the farm was a house for a female rabbit living there with her little son, the rabbit Fifi. One day, the little rabbit Fifi escaped from his mother, the female rabbit.

He entered Roxy the fox’s farm, picked a watermelon, cut it, and ate it. When he was full from eating the watermelon, he returned home happy and singing. His mother said to him: Where were you, Fifi? He answered his mother: I was walking in the beautiful air. But when Roxy woke up, he saw the watermelon cut. He was very sad and angry and said: I wonder who ate it? He said to himself: Maybe the ants or locusts ate it. The next day, Fifi went to the farm and cut a watermelon bigger than the first one and said: I will take it to my mother, Mrs. Rabbit.

When Fifi returned home, his mother asked him: Where did you get the watermelon from, Fifi? He answered: From Roxy’s farm, Mom. The mother said: If Roxy finds out, he will eat you. But he wasn’t afraid. The next day, when Roxy woke up, he saw there was no watermelon in the farm, but he saw the footprints of the rabbit Fifi on the ground. Roxy thought of a way to catch the thief Fifi, then hid himself in the cave. Fifi told his naughty mother: I will go out, Mom, to smell the air. The mother warned him and said: Beware of going to Roxy’s farm because Foxy sees you, he will eat you.

But Fifi didn’t listen to his mother’s words and entered Roxy’s farm and cut a watermelon to eat. But he was about to start devouring it when Roxy closed the door and attacked the rabbit. Fifi ran quickly, but Roxy caught his tail and cut it. Fifi returned to his mother with his tail cut off. The first thing his mother saw, she said to him: This is your punishment because I warned you from going. That was the punishment for whoever doesn’t listen to his mother’s words.
