Qatuta is a beautiful white cat, and Fatuta is a beautiful black cat. Each of Fatuta and Qatuta lives in a wide farm with the mouse Farfour. Farfour is a naughty mouse who loves wheat; he pierces the wheat bags of the farmer Qasim.

Qatuta and Fatuta expelled the mouse Farfour from the farm because of his bad behavior. Farmer Qasim brought the two cats eight apples—four red apples and four yellow apples. Qatuta said: I want the red apples, and Fatuta said: I want the red apples. The two cats went to the cow to judge between them.

The cow said: I will eat the yellow apples and give each of you two beautiful red apples. The cow ate the yellow apples and left each of them two red apples. Qatuta said: I want the two big apples, and Fatuta said: I want the two big apples. The two cats disagreed about dividing the red apples between them.

The two cats went to the horse to divide the apples between them. The horse said: I will take the two small apples for myself and give each of you one big red apple. The horse ate the two small apples and left each cat one big red apple. One of the two apples had two green leaves on it.

Qatuta said: I want the apple that has the two green leaves on it, and Fatuta said: I want the apple that has the two green leaves on it. The two cats went to the donkey to judge between them. The donkey took the apple that didn’t have two green leaves on it, and divided the apple that had two green leaves on it between them. The donkey said: For you, Fatuta, half a red apple with a green leaf on it, and for you, Qatuta, half a red apple with a green leaf on it.

Qatuta’s half apple was exactly like Fatuta’s half apple. The two cats rejoiced and shouted loudly: Long live justice! Long live justice!
