The lazy bear Dubbu sat beside a large tree enjoying its shade, while all the animals in the forest were in a state of activity, each working and striving to get their sustenance, while he looked at them, Dubbu in laziness, as the ants came out of the ant’s small hole on the ground to carry a small piece of food that she had brought for her home. Dubbu looked at them in frustration and wondered: What should I do? I have no food and I don’t want to work either. What should I do?
While he was confused, he thought of an idea. So he walked slowly until he reached the home of monkey Maymoon. He called his friend Maymoon from a distance and said to him: “Oh Maymoon, oh my dear friend.”
Monkey Maymoon loved Dubbu’s visit, so he didn’t learn about his severe laziness. Except that Dubbu came to him to beg for food. So Maymoon brought him some of the fruits he had with him.
Dubbu was happy with Maymoon’s offer, so he said to him: “I accept your offer, oh Maymoon, but I need your help, oh my friend, because I have no food or water at home. So I want you to help me, and I’ll also help you.”
So Maymoon agreed to Dubbu’s offer and said: “How will you be helping me, oh Dubbu, since you’re lazy?” Dubbu the lazy bear said: “I’ll bring you food tomorrow, oh Maymoon, and you eat tomorrow and enjoy laziness every day, and I’ll enjoy with him tomorrow.”
So Maymoon the lazy bear accepted and said to himself: I don’t have a problem, for I as I know, I hate laziness very much, and I enjoy with it. But I respond to your request, oh Dubbu, since while you’re going out, you were working and helping others. But I only ask that you give me a lesson that I won’t forget at all.
So Dubbu left to bring food for Maymoon the next day. So when he brought food for Maymoon, he ate and enjoyed laziness all day, and Dubbu enjoyed with him tomorrow.
So the matter continued like this for a long time, until Dubbu felt Maymoon was tired severely; so he goes to the forest to look for food, and after long walking, he brought some fruits that sufficed him for few days, and gave them to the bear who was looking at him with waiting. When Maymoon the lazy bear saw the fruits, he wasn’t satisfied at all, and he still suffers from hunger after him. So he must go to work tomorrow to bring more food for the bear so that he doesn’t get hungry after him.
At the same time, the frog Ikhbari had gone to the top of the well in his confusion and severe fatigue and thirst. So the bear when he finished bringing food for Maymoon, he looks at the bear with extreme suffering and fatigue. So he is tired and not satisfied at all. And he still suffers from hunger after him. Therefore, he must go to work tomorrow to bring more food for the bear so that he doesn’t get hungry after him.
And he saw the elephant Matar coming before him, so he told him in his confusion and severe thirst: The elephant Matar has presented his offer to all, but they have refused it. But as for me, I only have one offer to give, but I became happy with my family. But I ask that you don’t hit the monkey with a bat out of laziness, oh Dubbu, once more.
