One very hot day, there was a crow feeling extreme thirst. The crow flew to search for water in all parts of the nearby fields. He kept searching for water for a long time but couldn’t reach any place that had water, until the crow felt weakness and fatigue from his extreme thirst.

Suddenly, the crow saw below a water jug. The crow flew down to see if the jug contained water or not. Truly, the jug had water inside, and he had to drink immediately from inside the jug.

When the crow tried to drink from the jug, he found it had a long narrow neck. The crow couldn’t put his head inside the jug to drink from it. He tried to think of a trick that would enable him to reach the water. The crow tried to knock over the jug on the ground, but he also failed because he found the jug heavy and couldn’t move it.

The crow began thinking of another trick to reach the water, as thirst had intensified upon him, and he had to reach the water by any means. While looking around him, he found some stones present near him on the ground. He felt he had found the solution to his thirst problem.

The crow began using those stones to reach the water inside the jug, as he began dropping the stones one after another inside the jug, until the stones reached the top of the jug and it filled with stones. From here, the water began to rise, as the stones managed to raise the water until it came out of the jug easily, which enabled the crow to get the water that quenched his thirst.

The Moral of the Story:

A human can reach his goal if he strives toward it diligently, as nothing is impossible for a human. Rather, he may achieve all his goals if he strives toward them with serious work and strong determination.
