The Story of the Wicked Cat and the Small Rats

There was a large group of rats living normally in their hole of a big wicked cat who was pursuing them and it was chasing and eating them always, and it would be the greatest terror for them, and they were suffering a lot from her.

One day, the cat was hungry and wanted to eat, so it set out to the street and saw a dog with a piece of meat in his mouth, so the cat approached him and asked him to give her the piece of meat, but the dog refused and ate the meat and continued on his way, and when the dog was full he brought the rest of the meat and carried it to his house for his owner and his brothers to eat.

The cat waited until the dog returned and his brothers finished eating, then it approached him and requested from him that he give her the rest of the meat, and he refused, so the cat deceived him and told him that she had forgotten her mother since that time, and she became very hungry and wanted to eat, and she asked from him the dog: oh my master return to me that I will not die from hunger. So the good dog returned to her, but he deceived her, and told her that she would eat a piece of the meat and she returned to his brothers a piece of the meat.

The dog ate the rest of the meat, and returned to his house with his brothers to eat their dinner, and they invited the dog to eat with them, but he refused because he was full, and he returned to his owner. The owner was angry at him for not returning and he beat him, and the dog told him that he had found the meat in the street.

The cat wanted to eat more, so it thought that if she told the rats that the dog would chase her, then they would run away from her, so she went to their hole and she told them: oh my brothers I saw a dog with a big piece of meat, and I asked him to give me the rest, but the dog refused and said to me that he would give me to his brothers to eat, and he deceived me and gave me a piece of the meat. But the big rat warned her with great anger that the dog would chase them and would not return to them, so they must think in the smart path to escape from that cat that is treacherous and pursues them.

Then one of the small rats said to her: I have a clever path to get rid of that cat by tricking her, and he would put a bell around that cat that is treacherous and she will not catch us and see how she will be surprised. And he advised her to be careful.

The cat was extremely hungry and did not think that the rats were plotting against her, so it went near the hole of the rats, and the small rat went out to deceive her and told her that the dog had chased her away, and the cat was surprised extremely that the cat had run away and that she was watching the door all the time until a small rat comes to deceive her.

So the cat decided that it would return, and it came back another time to deceive the rats, and it caught the small rat who had betrayed her, and the cat treacherously devoured her.
