Our merciful religion, so we learned from it to be compassionate in our dealings with people, for we do not answer them with evilness, but we answer them with kindness, for it is the most effective way to defend from their evil with good deeds, and we strive against their evil with our deeds, so that they will not succeed in harming us with their evil, and the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, has forbidden us from oppressing them, he has forbidden us from harming them, and he has forbidden us from being aggressive with them, and we must be good to them as they are to us, so that God may love us.
The story: Sami was a young boy who was always playing with me and my friends, so he was very good, and he loved us a lot and we loved him. So my grandfather and I were very angry at his playing with us, for he would always treat us with beating, hitting, and abuse, and especially from my grandfather, for he was always beating me for no reason and he would insult my father, and he treated me as if he was younger than him in age.
My mother was kind to Sami and she used to feed him and prepare him for school, and she did not order him from playing, for she saw in him something good, but my grandfather did not like her kindness to him, and he wanted me to prevent him from playing with my friends and to forbid him from coming to our house, for he always treated me with abuse and hitting.
And Ahmad was my grandfather’s neighbor and friend, and he was on the exact opposite of my grandfather, for he was treating his son very kindly and always was smiling with his neighbors and friends, and Ahmad was very respectful of his neighbor and wise, and was distinguished from his opposite.
And one day my grandfather rose with anger to accompany Ahmad to the mosque and he was walking very slowly and he was playing and laughing with his good friend, so his grandfather rebuked him and told him that he must not respect him and that he must not walk with him while his neighbor is walking with difficulty.
So Ahmad was always very kind to Sami and he was his best friend and he used to help him with everything, and my grandfather became angry at Ahmad, and he hit Ahmad and cursed him and insulted him, and he left him crying very much while his heart was broken, and the people saw my grandfather beating Ahmad and cursing him, and they said to my grandfather: why are you beating this innocent child and cursing him and insulting him, for he is a good child and a believer and he loves you and he respects you?
So my grandfather was very angry at the people and he told them: the people whom I am beating is my neighbor and I am beating him because he is treating me with great badness and he is corrupting my son and corrupting my affairs, and he is abusing me and my father and my family and insulting them, and he is always playing with my friends against me and he is causing me trouble, and he does not respect me and does not fear me. So my grandfather decided to get revenge on Ahmad and he planned to kill him.
So he waited with Ahmad many days until one day Ahmad went out to school and my grandfather called to him and requested from him that he bring him a bag from the house and he will wait him in the house, so Ahmad brought him the bag and my grandfather waited for him in the house and Ahmad was sitting in fear, and my grandfather asked him: why are you afraid, and Ahmad said with great politeness: I am not afraid of anything, for my mother had warned me when she left the house because of your illness, and she said to me that you beat me with great kindness and he has informed me of what happened in the house, and Ahmad said to him: my father had beaten me with great kindness and he had informed me what happened, and he said to me that he will come and he will take my revenge on you.
So my grandfather said to him with a loud voice: I will not wait for your father, for your father is the gentle and I am the angry and the oppressor, and I will kill you, and my grandfather took the bag and hit Ahmad very much until Ahmad died in the house.
So my grandfather beat Ahmad and killed him and his body, and he left him crying on the ground, and he said: forgive me Ahmad, for your father is a good man and he treated me with great kindness and he had informed me of what happened, and your father is the best, and I am the worst.
My grandfather killed Ahmad while his mother was out at the market for the family, and he was waiting with great fear that his mother return to find her son Ahmed on the ground. Ahmad’s mother returned and she found Ahmad on the ground, and she cried and cried and she asked him: what happened to you oh my son, my grandfather told her: your son Ahmad is the best, and he is a good person and a believer and he loves you and he respects you, and your father treated me with great kindness and he had informed me of what happened, and he was waiting for me to tell me something good, for I have a lot of books of study a little, and each of these things that he was doing he was putting it in his heart.
And after he died, his father returned with a great love for him and he was very angry at him and he broke his chest and he said to him: you killed your friend without a reason, and you did not fear that his father will kill you, for his father was the gentle and I am the oppressor, so my grandfather’s father was very angry at him and he cursed him and insulted him, and he beat his son and he left him crying, and his father cursed him and said: you killed Ahmad without a reason, for his father was the gentle and I am the oppressor.
My grandfather’s father sought revenge for Ahmad and he waited with him many years until he became strong, and he went to the grandfather of Ahmad and he cursed him and insulted him and he beat him and he cursed him and insulted him and he beat his son and he broke his chest, and he left him.

And the truth is that our religion is the religion of love and forgiveness, and we must not take revenge, for that is from the work of the devil, and God Almighty said in His Noble Book: and the good and the bad are not equal, the response of the bad is by the like of it. And the Prophet, peace be upon him, says: the tyrant will not remain, the oppressor will not remain.
So whoever oppresses others will be rewarded like the oppressor, and whoever helps others will be rewarded like the one who helps, and whoever forgives others will be rewarded like the forgiver.
