One of the days, in one of the very distant lands, there was a kingdom ruled by a king. He had a daughter named Rose. The king loved his daughter greatly and never allowed her to leave the palace at all, fearing that harm would befall her if she went out to face the world. The princess wished to see the world and didn’t know why her father prevented her. She cried a lot. The king knew that his daughter was suffering, but he said to himself that this wouldn’t be good for her.
The princess lived her life, and on days she would sit on her bed and read books about the stories of princesses. In sadness, grief entered upon her, and her maid Alina who had raised the princess since childhood entered her. Even so, until then she had never looked at her. When she knew the princess was sad, she said to her, “What’s the matter, oh princess? Why are you sad?” The princess said, “What can I do? I can’t go out, and the books alone are what make me see the world, but I’m tired of my existence between the four walls of the palace. I want to go out.” She said to her, “Go to him and ask him for a carriage with one wheel and bear. I told her I wanted to go out and not play.” She said to her, “Do what you asked for and leave the rest to me.” The helper was a sorceress, but the king didn’t know that. The princess made her request and went to the king and asked him for the things. He asked her what she would do with them. She said to him, “My father didn’t fulfill my wish to leave the palace and bring me things to fulfill my little wish.” He said to her, “Good, good, I will fulfill your request.”
The king didn’t refuse to sadden his only daughter, so he asked the supreme commander and asked him to bring the carriage and bring the bear. The commander brought them immediately and gave them to the princess, and she went to her distant bedroom and gave them to Alina. She said to her, “Now tell me what you will do with them.” She said to her, “Oh princess, quickly I will make from this carriage a carriage with another horse and I will take you where you two want, and when you arrive, look at the bear, and no one will know that you are a princess, and you will remain like this.” The princess was therefore very happy for that and thanked Alina.
So the sorceress directed her sister to the carriage that had one wheel for her, so she took it with speed and transformed it into a carriage with another horse. The princess rode the bear and sat inside it. In moments, the magical carriage transported the princess from the palace to a dense forest, and the princess stopped the magical carriage and started exploring the forest. She said, “Everything here is very beautiful, these flowers I love their fragrance since years, and I look at these things.” While the princess was roaming in the forest, she heard the barking of dogs, so she hid behind the trees and looked to find a prince from the dogs. The prince was in a hunting trip and saw a bear hiding among the trees, so he said, “Excellent, today I will obtain a double catch.”
The princess said to him, “Stop a moment, don’t kill me, I’ll speak to you.” The prince didn’t hear the bear speaking, and he thought a moment and said, “He’s speaking, which means he’s a magical bear.” So he said to him, “Why don’t you take me with you?” He said to him, “Come with me, you will live with me until I kill you.” The bear said, “Good, I agree.” The princess took the bear to his home and felt the princess was happy to see the bear. She felt awe to own a wild animal that was beautiful and rough like a bear. One day they were eating their food, and the mother said toward them, “Let’s hold a celebration in the great kingdom tonight.” The princess was listening to that and wanted to go to the celebration because she wished to see what would happen there.
She said to her, “Oh princess, take me with you to the celebration, I want to enjoy also.” The prince heard this speech, so he immediately drove the bear out of the room, and the bear left the room silently. In the evening, the prince got ready to go to the celebration, and he mounted and rode. After he finished, the bear reached the queen to go with him, but the kingdom refused the permission and allowed him. The princess ran with the magical carriage and directed it, so the bear transformed on the spot into beautiful clothes and sat in her carriage and directed to the carriage, so she arrived at the celebration. Because of her extreme beauty, all the eyes at the celebration stared at her.
And everyone wanted to know who she was and how the prince saw her until he fell in love with her on the spot, and he kept talking to her all the night. Even after the celebration ended, the princess ran quickly to the carriage and moved her amulet and left. The prince tried to catch up with her, but he didn’t find her. He kept thinking about the beautiful princess all the way, and he thought everything about his mother.
The princess was listening to him while she was in the shape of a bear. The next day there was a celebration in another kingdom. He thought that the princess had gone to it there, so he completed from talking to her that day. He said, “I will ask her about her name so I can search for her.” The prince arrived at the celebration, and after a while, the princess arrived.
The prince tried to talk to her, but she didn’t speak and continued dancing with him in silence. The celebration ended, and the princess ran and sat in her carriage and disappeared in the air. The prince didn’t find any trace for her. The following evening, he went to another celebration, and the princess appeared, and she was more beautiful. She danced with the prince all night and put a gem in her hair. The celebration ended, and the princess disappeared. As usual, the prince returned and talked to his mother. Then he saw the prince’s bear laughing, so he got angry with him, while the prince was trying to take the gem from the bear’s hair, so he fell into the trap. The bear recognized him. The bear ordered him to remove the fur. Indeed, he discovered that she was the princess. The princess returned to her mother and told her the story of her mother who had locked her up and the success of her attempt to escape. The princess rejoiced at her father’s extreme concern with true love. The prince and the princess got married and lived with each other in happiness.
