The events of the story of the lazy ant revolve around the difference between the result of work and diligence and effort, and the result of laziness and lethargy, and what will befall the lazy ant as a result of her stubbornness and extreme laziness, and how she was able to transform from a lazy ant to an obedient and active and diligent ant.

The story: It is told that one day, the queen of the ant called out with the loudest of her voice, to all the ants present in the kingdom, for winter had approached, and the ants must work with greater speed than they were accustomed to, so they could store the largest amount of food sufficient for them for the coming winter season, to eat from it and feed their young.

So the ant queen called all the ants of the kingdom saying: oh you ants, winter has approached, so work with greater speed, for I fear that the rain may come suddenly, let us collect abundant food and put it in the stores, in a safe place.

All the ants went to work with extreme activity, except one ant who was very lazy, and loved to sleep under the sun, so the queen of the ant called out to her, and said to her enough of your lethargy and laziness oh lazy ant, come get up to work, this time I will not allow you that, either you work with diligence and activity, or you leave the kingdom immediately.

The lazy ant replied: I will leave outside the kingdom, for I work with hardship and I do not want to remain here in the kingdom, then the ant went out outside the kingdom, and went to the forest, wandering in every place, and eating whatever she wishes on her way, and suddenly the weather changed, and heavy rain poured from the sky, and the water started drowning everything the ant could eat in the forest.

And after the rain dried, the ant found herself hungry and lost, so the ant was forced to return to the kingdom, and indeed the ant returned to the kingdom hungry and exhausted from extreme fatigue, and she knocked on the door of the kingdom with great shame from herself, and when the queen of the ant saw her in the kingdom she ordered her to be entered immediately and fed and taken care of until she recovers completely.

And after the ant regained her health and wellness, and recovered completely from fatigue and illness, she asked for permission to meet the queen of the ant, and when she was allowed to meet her, she apologized to the queen for what issued from her, and began to implore the queen to forgive her.

So the queen of the ant in the kingdom said to her: I will forgive you but on condition, that you work with activity and diligence with the rest of the members of the kingdom, and that you listen to speech and do not oppose orders again, for we all work for the benefit of everyone.

The ant replied to her while admitting her sin and said while crying from extreme shame: I have learned from my mistake, and I cannot return to the same mistake again, and the ant returned to work in the kingdom with extreme activity and diligence, for she had tested herself what happened to her as a result of laziness and lethargy, and what are its unacceptable consequences, and the ant remained active and diligent, and will not return again indeed to what she was from laziness and lethargy.
