The Story of the Good Dog and the Wolf

In a village there was a large group of rats living a normal life, in a hole of a big cat who was pursuing them, and it was chasing and eating them always, and it would be the greatest terror for them, and whenever they would escape from it, they would live days in terror, fear and anxiety.

One day, when the cat was hungry and wanted to eat, it set out to the street and saw a dog with a piece of meat in his mouth, so the cat approached him and asked him to give her the piece of meat, but the dog refused and ate the meat and continued on his way, and when the dog was full he brought the rest of the meat and carried it to his house for his owner and his brothers to eat.

The cat waited until the dog returned and his brothers finished eating, then it approached him and requested from him that he give her the rest of the meat, and he refused, so the cat deceived him and told him that she had forgotten her mother since that time, and she became very hungry and wanted to eat, and she asked from him the dog: oh my master return to me that I will not die from hunger. So the good dog returned to her, but he deceived her, and told her that she would eat a piece of the meat and she returned to his brothers a piece of the meat.

The dog ate the rest of the meat, and returned to his house with his brothers to eat their dinner, and they invited the dog to eat with them, but he refused because he was full, and he returned to his owner. The owner was angry at him for not returning and he beat him, and the dog told him that he had found the meat in the street.

The next day, the cat wanted to eat, so it saw the dog carrying a basket of pieces of meat, so it asked him that he share with her, but the dog refused, and she deceived him and told him that her mother was sick and she had forgotten her for many years, and she became very hungry. The dog deceived her again and he gave her a piece of the meat and told her to bring her brothers so he could eat with them, and when she returned with them and told them, they laughed at the dog and said to him: how did you fall for the deception of the cat three times? You are a big dog, you must be stronger than that cat. And they mocked him and insulted him.

So the cat left the village defeated, and she said to herself: I am the most stupid cat, I let the dog deceive me many times, and I must become more wise to protect myself. And indeed the dog’s brothers were angry and they chased him away, for the dog was the good and faithful dog, and the cat was the cunning and deceiving cat.
