In ancient times there were two brothers, one of them well off and the other extremely poor who did not possess food for his day. One day the poor decided to work in agriculture on a piece of small land that he had inherited from his father so his condition would improve and he would go away from poverty. The man plowed the land and planted in it seeds of pumpkin.
And while the pumpkins grew and ripened, among them was a pumpkin that had grown huge in size until it became impossible to carry it except on a cart. In the beginning of the matter, the man harvested the giant pumpkin but when he took it to the market he did not find anyone buying it with a good price, so he decided to present it as a gift to the king. He hastened with the cart on which he loaded the giant pumpkin and headed towards the royal palace.
When the king saw it, he was very amazed at its large size and said to him oh what a strange thing, I have seen many wonders but I have not seen like this pumpkin ever. Then he said what type of seeds did you plant until it gave this giant shape? So the man said to him oh my master I am but a simple farmer working on a piece of small land that I inherited from my father, as for the pumpkin, it has grown in my land with the care of the earth.
The king had compassion with the poor farmer and ordered him to be given the giant pumpkin in gold. He became of the rich, and when the rich brother learned how a pumpkin had made his brother from among the rich, he decided to present a valuable gift of gold and jewels to the king so he would endow him with gifts and become even richer. When the king saw the gift, he said to him your gift is amazing and I do not find anything more precious than this as compensation from you, more wonderful and nobler than the giant pumpkin. And thus the rich brother lost his gold and jewels in exchange for the giant pumpkin, and that was because of his jealousy and his change from his brother.
