The Duck is the one who gives birth and lives in it, that is, it is a father or mother who is very kind or very evil, whoever asks us for help for the sake of everything the duck does, he is the father or mother. Story of the Wise Man and His Three Children:

Once the sons were playing and talking with their father, and they were happy. The father was pleased with them and gave them some goodness, and the sons were pleased with what their father gave them, and they used to play, eat and sleep only. But on one day while they were playing in their yard, the father became ill and did not come out to play with them, and he remained in the house for many days without coming out, for he had become very ill. The sons played in their yard for some days, then they went to see their father, and they found him very weak and said to him, “O our father why are you not coming out to play with us? Did something happen to you? Please tell us.” The father answered them, “O my dear sons, I am extremely ill and may die, so I cannot play with you anymore, for I cannot even go out of my house, because of the severity of my illness, I am confined to my bed.” The three sons were very sad and said to him, “O our father, we cannot live without you, for your death would mean the end of our happiness, as you are the source of our happiness.” The father said to them, “But remember my sons, patience has three types: First, patience with what you fear. Second, patience with what you endure. Third, patience with what you love.” The sons asked him, “Explain this to us, O our father.” The father said, “Patience with what you fear is like a person who fears losing his eyesight, so he goes to a doctor and asks him to treat his eyes with difficulty, and the doctor treats him with difficulty for many days, but his eyesight improves and he is able to see better. This is patience with what you fear.” The father continued, “And patience with what you endure is like a person whose eyesight has weakened with time, but he cannot treat it, and he endures his condition and lives his life with contentment and satisfaction. This is patience with what you endure.” The father said, “And patience with what you love is like a person who loves his wife and children and lives his life with them, and he dies leaving them with contentment. This is patience with what you love.” The three sons thanked their father and learned the great lesson. They realized that patience is one of the greatest traits that a human must have, and that whoever is patient with his affairs will receive good, and whoever is patient with what he loves will be rewarded.

Short Story of the Three Children About Patience:

It is narrated that once there were three children playing, and they had a beautiful small duck that was very tame and they loved it very much, for it would follow them everywhere. On one day while the children were playing in their yard, a fox passed by and took the duck while they were not watching, and he ran away with it. The children began to cry and scream loudly for their duck, and they began to search everywhere until they found a small duck walking alone. The children began to think, “How do we distinguish this duck from our duck, so that we know if this is our duck or not?” The first son said, “We must see if the duck recognizes us.” So he called the duck, but the duck did not come to him and continued walking alone. The second son said, “Let’s see if he knows his name.” So he called the duck, “O duck!” But the duck did not recognize his name. The third son said, “Let’s see if he recognizes our food.” So they took food and offered it to the duck, but the duck did not eat their food. The children recognized that this duck was not their duck, so they let it go. They continued searching for their duck, and after long searching, they found their duck hiding in fear, and they took it with them and went home happy, and they learned the lesson that we must be patient in what we love, for the end of patience is success.
