One day, Prince said, watching from behind the door which guard could pass. Sarah said, “We might get into trouble.” Sarah was trying to open the chest. He said to her, “Hurry, I think someone is coming toward us.” She said to him, “What did you find inside?” She said, “It seems to be some type of rock.” She took a dark green stone from the chest and needed to carry it with both hands, then looked at Prince in confusion and asked him, “Why does your father keep a rock in this cage?”

He said to her, “I don’t know. Hurry, someone is coming.” Sarah quickly closed the chest and gave the green stone to Prince. The person coming was the king. Sarah was able to recognize his voice while he was in the corridor. It was clear he was angry. Prince said, “It’s your father, Sarah. What should we do?” Sarah answered, “He doesn’t know you’re here. Hide yourself in the closet and give me the rock later.” At that moment, the door opened wide, and the king looked at Sarah with anger and frustration and asked her, “What are you doing here?”

She said, “I’m just exploring the place, Father, as I always love to do.” The king said, “I know you love exploring, and I also know that the red doors are out of bounds and shouldn’t be crossed.” She said, “And why not? I want to know what the dragon killer is hiding behind these doors. You’re my father and must tell me about these things.” He said, “Exactly because I’m your father, I shouldn’t tell you everything. I must protect you.” She said, “Protect me from whom? I know there’s no dragon that can kidnap us at any moment.”

As Sarah was saying this, a giant shadow fell upon the place. Her father said, “I think it’s better that you return to your room.” Sarah looked behind her and saw a huge dragon hovering around the window. The dragon roared, and Sarah fled. A guard who was waiting for her in the corridor escorted her. The battle continued for four hours, but the king killed the great dragon. With the help of his guard, they were able to stop the beast and put it in a huge cage. The king stood beside the dragon, and then the painter painted a picture of the dragon and its killer.

Sarah watched everything from her window. Then there was a knock on the door. He said, “Come in.” Prince entered and said to her, “I brought you the stone.” She said to him, “Leave it on my table.” He said to her, “What a great battle, wasn’t it?” She said, “As usual, he always defeats the dragon and keeps it in a cage to display this matter afterward, but I’ve never seen a free dragon before.”

Then she said, “Dragons are intelligent creatures, and it’s not fair for my father to imprison them like this. And as I said, they’re intelligent. If one of them decided to come here, certainly it wants something, and I don’t mean food.” Prince said, “Perhaps they’re trying to take revenge on your father for imprisoning them.” She said, “I think the matter is bigger than that. Perhaps she needs something inside those rooms. Perhaps she needs the stone.” At that moment, the stone moved, and Sarah and Prince were terrified. Prince said, “It’s not a stone, it’s an egg.” After that, the top of the egg broke, and a reptile-like creature emerged from it.

The egg broke, revealing wings with scales and a tail. It wasn’t just a reptile creature. It was a dragon. Sarah approached the animal, which was looking at her with curiosity. Prince said to her, “Be careful, Sarah, it might be dangerous.” Sarah paid him no attention and petted the creature. She said she wouldn’t tell her father about the dragon. Prince said, “But I see this as a bad idea.” She said, “In your opinion, what should I do?” He said, “Give him to your son. He’s the best one who knows how to deal with these creatures.”

He said, “And let him imprison this poor creature forever? I will take care of him myself.” Weeks passed, and Sarah cared for the dragon and hid him from everyone. Prince would bring her meat from the stores. At first, they were able to satisfy the dragon’s hunger. He started breathing fire and flying. Sarah would take him to the garden at night so he could practice living freely. The dragon began growing very quickly. The matter began to get out of control. Prince was bringing more food and offering it to the dragon, and Sarah was no longer able to meet all the dragon’s needs.

The dragon became more frightening than before, but he refused to eat. He let out a loud roar, and the king came. When his eyes fell on the dragon, he froze in his place, then drew his sword and said, “Sarah, Prince, approach me slowly.” The king was clearly angry. The dragon flew out the window. She said, “It came out of your egg. Why do you keep a dragon egg when you kill them?”

The king was silent, then said, “Did you find an egg?” She said, “Is there more eggs? Are you raising dragons so you can hunt them and kill them afterward to maintain your reputation?” The king said, “This matter doesn’t concern children, but that’s wrong.” She said, “But you must know that the king who hunts dragons becomes a legend. I’ve created a title for myself, and I can’t do anything now, but I must maintain my name.” She said to him, “Leave the dragon and let the dragons be.” He said, “I need to think. Forgive me, my daughter.”

He opened the cage of eggs existing in the red rooms, and the king released the dragons and didn’t kill them. But before that, Sarah cared for them and raised them with Prince’s help. The king loved the dragons and found kindness and much benefit in him. He changed his title to the Great Dragon King.
