The cat entered the prince’s house and told him that he had brought the rabbits as a gift. The prince had a beautiful daughter. The princess rejoiced when she saw the cat with shoes, and she prepared milk and cream for him to eat. Then she returned as a guest to his owner. The cat told his owner what had happened, and told him that he could marry the beautiful princess. But the boy said in confusion that he didn’t own a palace or jewelry, so how would the princess marry him. The cat thought and left his owner and went again.
There was a large palace in the forest, but the palace contained a huge dragon. The dragon was magical and had the ability to transform into other forms. The cat thought how he could defeat the huge magical dragon. Then he went to him cautiously and asked him if he was truly a magical dragon. The dragon answered him that he could transform himself into any form he desired.
The cat asked him to transform himself into a lion. The dragon transformed and returned. The cat said to him, “Can you transform into something smaller like a mouse?” The dragon transformed himself into a mouse. The cat quickly attacked him and ate him. The palace became empty.
The cat returned to his friend and took him until they reached the prince’s palace. The boy asked the cat how he could meet the prince. The cat asked him to remove his clothes and go down to the wonderful lake near the palace, and pretend he would drown. The cat went to the princess and asked her to help his friend who was drowning. The princess quickly ran and asked the guard to save him. The guard took him out of the water and brought him new clothes to dress him. The boy went with the princess to the prince and thanked them greatly for saving his life.
Then he asked the prince to marry his beautiful daughter. The prince asked him if he owned a palace for the princess to live in. The boy was silent, but the cat quickly answered on his behalf and asked them all to come with him to see. The friend of the cat was amazed, but he didn’t speak.
The cat took them to the dragon’s palace in the forest. They found it a beautiful palace. So the princess agreed to marry the owner of the cat. They married, and the boy became a prince and lived in happiness after he knew the value of the gift and his father.
