On the way, he encountered a wolf whose dog was fleeing from the severity of hunger, so he said to him something from the meat and told him with a heavy voice return to me oh my master, give me a little of the food to satisfy my hunger, for I have not eaten anything into my stomach for days.
He said to him I obtained this piece of meat after severe suffering, and you want to obtain a part of it with all ease, go and search for yourself something to eat far away from me, and the cunning dog continued his way searching for another place to hide the piece of meat, and the suffering that was afflicting him from the severity of hunger, and after several moments he approached a wolf and its puppies. She addressed him saying the people around me are suffering from the severity of hunger, return to me oh my master, give me a little of the food and save us from death.
But the cunning dog drove her away saying do not look at my face and search for food to throw away the meat and eat it yourself, for I also need the food to live, and the cunning dog continued his way searching for a meal for the last of the starving, not taking care of their suffering, and he decided to eat the rest of the meat until no one would take it from him, so he began to search for a quiet place to eat the meal in it, and he suddenly saw a tree on the other side of the river, so he crossed the bridge to eat the piece of meat in its shade, and while he was crossing the bridge, he looked at the river and saw his image on the water surface and saw a dog with him another piece of meat, so he threw the dog to the water to take it from him, and when he opened his mouth to bark, the piece of meat fell in the river.
And thus the cunning dog obtained his reward and lost the piece of meat that he had kept for himself, and he deprived the others of it…
