Once there was a beautiful girl, pure as snow in heart. She was as fragile as glass. She lived in a small cottage with her parents in a high region atop one of the mountains, far from everything happening in real life.
She enjoyed constant happiness with her family until one day an evil sorceress appeared. She wanted to destroy that happiness and began to work her magic in order to make evil dwell in that happy family.
The little girl used to go every evening with her parents to stroll along the bank of the river near the cottage where they lived. All the animals that lived with them would accompany them there, because this family loved everything related to nature.
The evil sorceress watched the little girl and knew she loved her parents very much. So she decided to cause her harm to strike her with deep sadness. The sorceress worked a cursed magic that made the father hate his daughter and wife. The father no longer wanted them to approach him, night or day.
The little girl felt deep sadness and wept frequently with her mother. The father no longer loved nature and began to destroy it, spending much time cutting down trees and throwing trash into the river. He also treated the animals poorly.
The little girl found no solution to that problem, so she decided to make a wish from the depths of her heart: that she might become the most beautiful flower in the garden. When the father went in the evening and approached to cut that flower, the image of his daughter appeared within it, and she spoke to him about all the beautiful moments they had lived through over the years—how he had cared for her and loved her.
The little girl asked one last wish of her father: that he might give her a kiss for all those years they had lived in love and peace. The father listened to his daughter’s beautiful words, then kissed the flower from the depths of his heart. Suddenly, the sorceress, who had been observing that scene, exploded into thousands of tiny pieces, and her magic curse ended.
The father felt regret for all the errors he had committed. He began to plant many trees and flowers, cared for the animals he had treated poorly, and restored happiness to his family. The little girl felt great joy and made another wish: that she might always live with her family in happiness without any harm befalling them.
