There was a lion living in a forest. The lion grew a lot until he was no longer able to run. Every time days passed, the matter became harder for him. One day, the lion was roaming in the forest searching for food. He passed by a cave, looked inside it and tried to smell. He said to himself that there must be an animal inside this cave.
The lion entered the cave to discover what was inside it. The lion thought to hide inside until the unknown animal returned. The cave was the house of the fox, and every day the fox went out to search for strange food and returned to the cave at night to rest.
That night, the fox slowed down and returned to his house, but every time he advanced, he felt something strange. Everything around him was extremely quiet. The fox said to himself that there’s something strange. He asked himself why all the creatures and birds were silent like this.
With great caution and fear, the fox walked near the entrance of the cave and looked around him searching for any sign of danger. Every time the fox advanced from the entrance of the cave, all the creatures around him were warning him that there was danger. The fox thought he must make sure that everything was fine. Suddenly he thought of a smart trick.
The fox began speaking in a loud voice and saying to the cave, “How are you, oh good cave? What happened to you today? Why are you quiet in this unusual way?” The sound of the fox echoed deep inside the cave. At that time, the lion was no longer able to control his feeling of hunger, so the lion thought perhaps because of his existence inside the cave.
The cave was silent and quiet. He thought to do something before the fox realized there was something strange. The fox continued talking to the cave and asked, “Have you forgotten our friendship?” It was strange that you should deliver a message of my arrival to you. The lion began to make a terrifying sound and began talking himself to the fox and saying, “Welcome to your house, oh little one.”
And the birds began to chirp with a high sound and flew away suddenly from the lion. As for the fox, he became terrified from fear. Before the raging lion attacked him and ate him, the fox fled running at his highest speed, fearing for his life.
The lion waited a long time until the fox entered the cave, but when the fox delayed in coming to the cave, the lion realized the fox had deceived him. He rebuked himself and said he was foolish, and had he not done that, he would have slowed him down and slept with his full stomach.
Moral of the story:
- Always be aware of what’s happening around you and try to pay attention to small signs.
- Don’t trust your senses alone and try to make sure of everything.
- The moral is not by appearance, but the moral is always by intelligence and the right mindset.
