It is told that there were two rabbits, a couple who had twin rabbit babies, but each had different character than the other. The first rabbit, named Ted, was calm in character and obedient to his parents. The other, named Freddie, was hard-hearted and always caused trouble for his parents.

The parents always scolded Freddie because of his actions, while Ted was always praised by his parents. Freddie decided to leave the house and live alone in the forest, so he could do whatever he pleased without anyone holding him accountable. Ted and his parents were very sad for Freddie’s absence.

Freddie lived in the forest, and Ted lived in the house with his parents until they grew up. Ted became the Easter Bunny, and his work was to distribute candy to children on Easter day. He was loved by all children, as he was the source of their happiness. They would send him thank-you letters after Easter, which made him very happy.

Meanwhile, Freddie did nothing but play in the forest. He heard of the beloved Easter Bunny. Freddie felt intense jealousy toward his brother, not knowing he was his brother. The rabbit Freddie decided to bring many beloved gifts for children, such as racing cars and beautiful dresses for girls and other toys, so he could distribute them to children on the holiday.

Freddie waited until Easter day arrived, and he watched the Easter Bunny distribute candy to the children, then he distributed his precious gifts to the children. The children were very happy with the gifts of the fake Easter Bunny Freddie, and they thought Ted was the one who brought them those gifts, so they sent thank-you letters to Ted. When Ted opened the letters, he found the children mentioning the cars, dresses, and things that Freddie had brought.

Ted was surprised by the letters. Because he was honest, he decided to know the true owner of the gifts to give him the letters that belonged to him. On the following Easter, Ted went to distribute candy to the children as was his custom. As soon as he finished distributing all the candy and reached the last house, he hid behind a rock and waited a little. He found Freddie taking a beautiful racing car out of his basket and placing it in front of the door. Ted knew he was the one who brought the gifts in the previous Easter.

Ted came out from behind the rock and went to him. Ted was surprised when he saw Freddie his twin brother. He hugged him and asked him why he left the house. Freddie told him he had run away and lived alone. No one loved him, not even his parents, and he always did bad things. Ted told his brother he was wrong, and his mother and father had been very sad when he left the house and went away. Then he had done a great deed when he brought gifts and made the children happy.

Then he brought out from his bag the letters the children had sent to him. Freddie read the beautiful letters and began to cry with happiness and because he had left his brother and parents and lived alone all those years. Freddie and Ted returned together to the house, and they were happy. When their parents saw them, they rejoiced with great happiness, and they lived together happily.
