Once upon a time, oh fortunate one, in a very large forest filled with different animals and plants, there was a monkey who lived on a tall tree. He was extremely naughty, constantly mischievous, and loved pranks and fun greatly.

The monkey was accustomed to deceiving all his friends and often stealing bananas from them. One day, there was a monkey named Maimouna who found much bananas in the forest’s areas. She gathered them together.

The monkeys saw Maimuna the monkey carrying much bananas. When they asked her about the matter and wanted to take from the bananas she was carrying, she told them she would distribute the bananas to all the monkeys in the forest after she finished her work in the forest.

Maimuna took the bananas and placed them behind one of the forest’s trees, then went to finish her remaining work. The cunning monkey was watching her from afar. After he confirmed she had departed, he carried all the bananas and went with them to the top of the tree.

The monkey began eating the bananas and throwing the peels on the ground. An elephant passed by and suddenly slipped on the banana peels, falling to the ground and suffering greatly. He began breaking all the monkeys’ trees from the severity of his anger and breaking everything in front of him.

All the monkeys hurried to Maimuna the monkey and blamed her for her action. She expressed astonishment at them accusing her of such an accusation, and told them that the bananas were present as she had left them behind the tree. She invited them to the place until they could confirm her words. But they didn’t find the bananas. They became angry with her and blamed her greatly because the elephant was breaking all the trees due to her action.

Here, a snake hurried to them and told them that Maimuna the monkey hadn’t done anything except that she placed the bananas behind the tree and went to her work. He told them that the cunning monkey had come after her, carried all the bananas, and went with them to the top of the tree, eating what he ate and throwing the peels on the ground.

The monkeys hurried to him and the elephant went with them. They asked him if he was eating bananas and throwing the peels on the ground. He denied that. The elephant descended on him and began pressing on his stomach. Suddenly, the bananas came out of it. He began striking him and tied him with a rope, ruling that he would remain suspended like that throughout the day.
