Once upon a time, oh fortunate one, there was a large ant known for goodness, kindness, and compassion. One day, God blessed that ant with small children ants. She began showing compassion to them and caring for them comprehensively. As the winter season approached, that mother ant thought she should gather much food for her small children.

The mother ant began gathering food from different places, going here and there until she collected many piles of food for her small children, which would suffice them during the winter period. She feared winter would come and she wouldn’t be able to bring food to her children, and they would die of hunger.

After a short period, winter began, and matters proceeded as desired because the large ant had prepared for that season in advance. She and her little ones ate and went for warmth in the small burrow she had prepared for herself and her children. But matters didn’t settle much.

One day, a large storm came and lasted a long time. It was extremely harsh and destroyed everything in its path. Following that severe strong storm came a devastating flood that took everything in its way, even those piles of food the mother ant had prepared, taking a long time to gather, were scattered everywhere.

The ant felt intense sadness and experienced pain and suffering. She began thinking about her little ones - what if the time for their food came? Would she leave them to die from their extreme hunger? The ant thought a little, then hurried to her ant neighbor and called to her in a loud voice. When the ant came out to her, the mother ant began calling for help and told her that her children’s food had scattered from the strong storm and devastating flood.

She pleaded with her to give her some food to feed her little ones, promising to return it to her once the rain dried. The ant refused to give her any food. The ant began beseeching her that her children would die of hunger. The ant answered without mercy or compassion that she didn’t possess any food.

The mother ant walked her path, sad and wretched, began crying, and beseeched her Lord, praying to Him for a long time. God answered the ant’s supplication. The rain stopped by His permission, and the ground dried from water. The ant was able to gather her scattered food on the ground here and there.

She fed her little ones. After several days passed, her ant neighbor came calling to her and beseeching her to give her some food because her food had run out and her children would die from extreme hunger. Without hesitation, the ant gave her part of the food. The neighbor repented with deep regret, began sorrowing, and apologized to the ant because she had wronged her greatly.
