One day in the winter season, the citrus fruits went on a trip to the fields, mountains, and plains. The eldest sister, Grapefruit, took the lead in front. As for the rest of the sisters, they followed behind in order and arrangement: Pomelo, then Orange, then Clementine, and finally the youngest sister, Lemon. When they reached a high hill, Lemon felt tired and sat on a rock to rest and resist the cold and the blowing wind.

A strong wind blew and caused Lemon to fall, so she became thrown on the ground. She rolled and rolled until she settled at the bottom of the valley. They each searched for Lemon everywhere—under rocks and over rocks, under trees and over trees. As for Pomelo, she turned stones silently confused, and Orange did the same.

Orange was sad and said, “Alas! We have not found our wonderful sister Lemon.” With her high, strong voice, the eldest sister, Grapefruit, shouted, “Where are you, Clementine? Please help us and save us with your intelligence.” She thought and thought, and suddenly an idea occurred to her. She raised her voice high and shouted, “Lemon must have been here in this high place. Strong winds blew, caused her to fall, and she rolled toward the bottom of the valley.” All the sisters shouted with joy and happiness. “Well done, Clementine. This, by God, is something reasonable and an acceptable thought.”

Pomelo shouted, “Quiet down, sisters. I hear a deep voice in the city. It is the voice of our sister Lemon. Let us go toward the valley, extend all hands, and rescue our sister Lemon.” Lemon saw her four sisters. She jumped, and from extreme joy, a tear fell on her cheek. She laughed and shouted, “I love you, members of my family. I love you, my citrus sisters.” All the sisters grabbed their youngest sister, Lemon, and returned together happily toward their big home…
