The novel’s events revolve around children and nature. The novel begins in one of the schools where the teacher asks the students to bring their favorite animals to school. In class the next day, each student introduces their favorite animal and the characteristics that distinguish that animal. Indeed, each student brought their favorite animal, and they explained the advantages and characteristics of each animal, until one student brought a very large animal that amazed everyone with its presence in the school. What was that animal?!
Beginning of the Story: The teacher played a game with the children called “What is the animal” and told them: Tomorrow, let every child bring their favorite animal to class, or a picture of it. The next day, the children came to school, and each one had their favorite animal with them.
Student Nadine: Nadine stood in front of the class, holding her rabbit Bark, and said: The rabbit’s fur is very soft, it’s very, very fast, there’s no animal faster than it, and it loves to eat carrots a lot.
Student Ghassan: The child Ghassan brought a chameleon, stood in front of the class and said: The chameleon is a reptile, it looks like the extinct dinosaur, and the chameleon changes its color to defend itself. Look at it, how it eats insects, that’s its favorite food.
Student Samar: Samar brought a small chick, and she also stood in front of the class and told them: The small chick is very gentle, loves to eat grains just like me, loves to play all the time, and sleeps with the small chicks in its favorite box.
Student Ahmed: Ahmed brought a turtle, stood in front of the class and said: The turtle’s shell is its home, it moves very slowly, and loves to eat green leaves.
Student Farah: Farah brought a parrot to class, then she also stood in front of the class and said: The parrot has a sharp beak, very beautiful colorful feathers, and listen everyone, how the parrot speaks, its voice is beautiful.
