Monty Roberts was a wonderful child, and his father worked as a horse trainer. Monty was used to moving constantly from one farm to another, but in reality, they didn’t own any horses because they were poor. When Monty grew up a little, he went to school, and one day he asked his teacher to write him a detailed composition about what he wanted to be when he grew up, which was 7 pages long about his goal in the future. He was dreaming of owning a horse farm, and he had drawn the farm in detail, including the houses, stables, and even the barn doors of the house, and gave the composition to his teacher.

Two days later, he received the composition back from his teacher with a failing grade that amazed Monty, and he went to his teacher and asked him: Why did you give me a failing grade!

The teacher said to him: The dream you described isn’t realistic for a child like him, for he is poor and has no resources or family like him to make such a grand dream come true.

Monty took his composition home and thought about his teacher’s words, then went and told his father, and he asked him: How do you respond to your teacher?

His father said: This is an important decision for you, but you must think about his answer yourself.

After several days, Monty went to his teacher with the same composition without making any changes to it, and he said to his teacher: You can keep the failing grade I received, but I will keep my dream.

After several years, Monty was able to own his first horse farm, then worked more and more until he owned a horse farm on an area of 200 acres and a house of 4000 square feet. He had kept his composition that he wrote about his dream all that time. When he bought the farm, he put it inside the frame and hung it above the fireplace to always remember his dream, and he ignored those who didn’t believe in his ability to achieve his dream and worked to foil him all the time.
